The scenario of research is slowly picking up in India and the new budding students should utilize ample of opportunity and resources in the form of grants says Dr. A.V. Adhikari, Professor, Department of Chemistry, NITK, Surathkal, Mangalore while delivering the keynote address in the inaugural function of the one day seminar on ““Research Methodology & Research Grants” held on 11th August 2012 organised by Srinivas College of Pharmacy, Valachil, Mangalore.
Dr. A.R. Shabaraya, Principal & Director, Srinivas College of Pharmacy in his presidential speech quoted Swamy Vivekanandas words “A lamp does not speak, it introduces itself through its light”. Achievers never expose themselves but their achievements expose them and called budding researchers to move in that direction.
Guests of honour, Dr. Ganesh Sanjeev, Senior Physicist, Microtron Centre, Department of studies in Physics, Mangalore University in his remarks research students should ignite the proper research attitude by time, honesty and sincerity which are the key tool for the research. Dr. Sanjay Pai, Professor, Goa College of Pharmacy, Panaji, Goa, Dr. E.V.S. Subrahmanyam, Professor, Dept. of Quality Assurance and Mr. Viresh K.Chandur, Coordinator, Srinivas College of Pharmacy were present during the function.
