ISAP (Information Search Analysis and Presentation) 2013, series of tehnical seminar presentation was organised at Srinivas School of Engineering, Mukka on Saturday, 21st September 2013.

Sri. Brijesh B. Krishna, Delivery Manager, Infosys, Mangalore was the Chief Guest of the function. Sri. M R Vasudeva, Director Administration, Srinivas Group of Colleges presided over the function. Dr. Shreeprakash B, Principal & Convenor of ISAP and Dr. Ramakrishna Hegde, Vice Principal & Co-Convenor of ISAP were also present on the dais.

Prof. Smt. Jyothi Shetty, Head of Dept. of Computer Science & Engg welcomed the dignitaries on the dais and the gathering.

Prof. Shreeganesh Kedilaya, Head of Dept. of Electronics & Communication Engg introduced the Chief Guest to the gathering.

In his key note address, Dr. Ramakrishna Hegde briefed the aims & objectives of ISAP and has given the details of ISAP activities conducted in the previous years.

In his inaugural speech, Chief Guest Sri. Brijesh B. Krishna said that social websites like face book and tweeter have brought together people from different parts of the world which is helping in sharing the information and knowledge. He also spoke about ethical values to be followed in the IT professional career, pirated software’s, and advised the students to carry out more research works which will develop the society and nation at large. Sri. Brijesh B. Krishna said that after the globalization in the year 1990 India has established its own brand in the international IT market and it is predicted that by the year 2035 India will be the 3rd strongest country after US and China. He congratulated the Principal and members of ISAP Committee for organizing this unique program which will motivate the engineering students to update their skills and talents in the field of research.

Principal Dr. Shreeprakash B. addressed the students and advised them to have active involvement in ISAP and make the best use of it.

In his presidential remarks, Sri. M R Vasudeva expressed his satisfaction for organising ISAP and conveyed best wishes to the Principal, Faculty and Engineering Students.

Prof. Dr. Suma Bhat, Head of Dept. of Mechanical Engg delivered the Vote of Thanks.
