“ENVISION – 2014” THE TECHNO CULTURAL FEST at Srinivas Institute of Technology

The inauguration program of two days National Level Techno – cultural fest being held on 7th March 2014 at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangalore. After lighting the lamp as a symbol of inauguration, the deputy general manager B. S. Narasimhamoorthy, Jindal Saw Ltd given the call to rethink and inculcate the strong attitude to enhance the technical skill which is the key path to convert India as super power. The guest of honor Karthikeyan, assistant general manager, Jindal Saw Ltd, addressed the gathering and given many tips for budding engineers, then explained the need of engineers in spite of well designed machinery and labour in production oriented industry. He also stressed the need of sustainability of safety, health and global environmental standard.

The Vice President of A Shama Rao Foundation presided over the function and highlighted the situation of India being lagged in the competing world and he stressed to expedite the gain of Global skill to come out India as super power of the world. Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal of the College was present during the occasion. Around 1200 students from 77 colleges were participated in this mega event. The function was begun with invocation by Amala K. V. The organizing secretary Prathyush K T welcomed the gathering; Kumari Sanjana introduced the chief guest and guest of honor. Convener, Professor Mamatha A Prasad narrated the features of the mega event. Student coordinator Arun Kumar J rendered the vote of thanks. Kumari Vinola and Mr. Adithya Kadamba were anchored the program.
