A week long cultural extravaganza was hosted by Srinivas Institute of Dental Sciences named IMPRESSIONS-2015 from February 1st 2015 till 7th February 2015. The event was well supported by the management, organized and hosted by the staff of the Institute under the guidance from the Dean Prof. (Dr) Manoj Varma with the belief to bring about the bond between the different batches and with the faculty and therefore with the institution itself. IMPRESSIONS 2015 was inaugurated by all the teams introducing their batch names and the tag lines followed by treasure hunt and tug of war. All the other events like Spot photography, Short Movie Making, Nail art, Crossword, Collage, Mehendi, Soap carving, Face painting, Dental creativity, Cooking without fire ,Dumb charades, Spot dance, Antakshari, Mad ads, Vocals Indian, Dance Indian, Debate, Quiz, Vocals Western, Dance Western, Painting/ cartooning/ Sketching, Rangoli, Flower arrangement, Variety show, Valedictory Function, etc., observed tremendous participation from the students of each batch including the staff.

On 8th February 2015 at 5.00 pm Valedictory Ceremony was hosted to which Shri. CA. A. Raghavendra Rao, President, A. Shama Rao Foundation was the chief guest and Shri. (Dr) A. Srinivas Rao, Vice President, A. Shama Rao Foundation was the Guest of Honor. The welcoming of the guests started with a flash mob at each level to the auditorium which was well appreciated by our President. The Dean addressed the gathering and welcomed the guests. The event started with invocation and lighiting of ceremonial lamp by the dignitaries. Mr. Bharath Jogi, President of the Student Council presented the annual student report. Ms. Shifa Banu, General Secretary of Student Council proposed the Vote of Thanks. During the event academic excellence awards were given to Ms. Ashwini K. S and Ms. Shifa Banu for securing Distinction and 1st rank in their batch during the respective University Examination. Roll of honor trophies for Best Variety Entertainment Program, Best Cultural Team, Best Sports Team and Overall Rolling Trophies were also presented by the Chief Guests to the victorious teams. The guest of honor appreciated the efforts put in by the students and also suggested that same efforts should be put into academics and clinical work too. In the Presidential note Sri. CA. A. Raghavendra Rao said he was overwhelmed by the kind of welcome received and appreciated the team spirit of the institution which was also be observed in other group events of Srinivas Group of Colleges and commended the efforts put forth by the staff and the students. National anthem was played at the end of the ceremony. Best events of the entire week were selected and re-performed during the valedictory function. Certificates of Merit were also presented to all the individual event winners on a later date. The event culminated with a banquet, which included DJ show to the entire institute.
